Perfusionist Opportunity
in York, PA
Under the generalsupervison of the physician, provides short-term cardiopulmonary support during open heart procedures, long-term support via ECMO or centrifugal ventricular pumps on cardiac or pulmonary compromised patients, performs auto transfusion services, performs rapid infusion, cardoplegia administration, hemoconcentration, hemodiafiltration, and modified ultra filtration on adult and pediatric patients.
Required Skills
Knowledge of perfusion practices and equipment, knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology;ability to work within stressful situations, exercise sound judgment in complex situations and be ability to serve on-call
Required Experience
Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.
Bachelor's Degree in Perfusion Technology
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
3 years of related experience including pumping perfusion cases
