This position reports to the Department Chair, and is responsible for the supervision of the Clinical Perfusionists at Tufts Medical Center Investigates and initiates current techniques in perfusion and blood conservation. Insures the operating condition of the life support equipment and manages the inventory of perfusion, intra-aortic balloon, pump, and blood conservation supplies in the Operating Room. Serves as clinical site for perfusionist at Northeastern University.
Level of knowledge generally obtained through a bachelor's degree with significant course work in sciences and a recognized program in perfusion.
Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical practice.
