Hamot Medical Center located in Erie, PA, identified by Thomson Reuters as oneof America's 100 Top Hospitals for Cardiovascular Care, invites aCertified Perfusionist to join their team!
This hospital-based perfusion team performs 450 open hearts per year and Hamotis AABB Accredited in Perioperative Auto transfusion blood managementtechnologies.
This ideal candidate will be responsible for adult cardiopulmonary bypass,blood management procedures, IABP support, ventricular assist support (VAD),adult ECMO, and POC lab analysis. Additionally, intra-operative autologousblood therapies will be provided to orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular,plastic, dental, bariatric and trauma surgical patients.
The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, work cohesively withthis small team of perfusionists, be highly motivated, and flexible.
A graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Perfusion, certified orcertification-eligible by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion isrequired. One year of perfusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities include variable work hours weekly and rotational on-call forweekdays, weekends, and holidays.
