The University of Virginia TCV Perfusion Department is accepting resumes for the position of Staff Perfusionist. This position is a full-time position with benefits and requires a 30 minute response time when on call. The hospital-based Perfusion Department performs 800 pump cases per year; encompassing a case mix variety of neonates through adults, transplants, VADs, adult ECMO, TandemHeart insertions; with limited off pump cases. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, work cohesively with others, be highly motivated and flexible. All candidates will be considered, however candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular perfusion, and certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
