Job Description Maintains and operates the cardiopulmonary bypass machine and related ancillary equipment employed in cardiac surgical procedures. Administers appropriate medications and IV’s via the cardiopulmonary bypass machine.
Minimum or Preferred Qualifications Job applicants should be graduates of an accredited school of perfusion technology. They should have passed the certification examination, and once hired, maintain that certification. Have a thorough background in all phases and methods of perfusion technology.**For clinical positions, internal applicants must have been employed in the same job title as the per diem position for which they are applying or in a comparable area of practice. Internal and external applicants must have a minimum of one continuous year of comparable work experience within two years of the time the per diem job is posted. All applicants will be required to satisfy all orientation/probationary requirements**
