Safe perf. and/or mgt of extracorporeal support/ cardiopulmonary bypass, myocardial preservation, temp regulation, fluid mgt incl. hemoconcentration/ ultrafiltration, physiologic monitoring, point-of-care lab testing, admin. of blood components/ meds/ anesthetic agents, blood conservation techs incl autotransfusion, intra-aortic balloon pumping, documentation associated with all duties; plus all other duties nec. for the normal daily operation of the perfusion svc. Reqs: B.S. in Science or rel. field; grad of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program board elig as recognized by the A.B.C.P. Proven ability to work within a team under stressful situations, to function effectively for long periods of time, and to function independently. Emotional stability and physical ability to react to all situations. Ability to work under heavy workloads, irregular and lengthy schedules.
