JOB SUMMARY:
Perfusionist performs clinical cardiopulmonary bypass during cardiac surgery,
hypothermic re-warming, intraperitoneal hyperthermia, PRP, plasma pheresis, and
extracorporeal circulation during LVAD/RVAD procedures on patients adolescent
through elderly. In addition to these duties, the perfusionist stands by for
off pump cardiac procedures. Position requires high level of customer service
skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients,
co-workers, and others.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in health science related field plus graduate of an
accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion training program. Licensure/Credentials:
Board Certified or Board Eligible with the condition of becoming Board
Certified within Amsects guidelines (3 years).
