Job Details: Bachelor's degree and minimum of one to
three years of job-related experience required. State of CT Perfusionist
certification and board-certified by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
required. Comprehensive knowledge of perfusion techniques; an understanding of
the related physiology; and the ability to assess the patient's status and
manage the situation appropriately preferred. Clinical experience in the
conduct of Adult Perfusion desired. Conducts cardiopulmonary bypass for patients
undergoing bypass surgery. Participates in all activities related to overall
operation of the department, specifically data collection and management,
laboratory management, and equipment readiness.
